Thank you!

Wanted to send out a big shout out to the Scrapalicious USA design team for picking my 'graduation theme' card as part of the "Top 3" from their challenge (#3) last week.  It is the first 'top' anything I have been awarded and  there are so many creative crafters out there...  Thank you for this honor!  :)

Sketch Challenge

Hello my crafty friends!  Trying another Challenge today.....  it is the sketch challenge (#48) over at The Paper Players.   Instead of putting the circle with the image on the cover, I decided to cut it out, and 'frame' the inside of the card...  I used 'happy anniversary' as the sentiment but that can easily be changed so this card can be used for many occasions!

Cardstock- Recollections; DCWV;
Cricut Cartridge- Sweethearts;
Stamp- Stampin Up;
Pen- Inkssentials;
Punch- Stampin Up; EK Success;

I am entering this card into two different challenges.  One being challenge #3 at Scrapalicious USA where the theme is 'graduation'; and the other challenge is #61 at Fantabulous Cricut where you need to use the color blue and have at least one cloud....  and this is what I ended up with!  :)

Kitty!

I just got one of the newer stamp sets from Stampin' Up called 'Touch of Kindness' and I just love the kitty stamp.  So cute!  Then I remembered the color challenge hosted by The Parer Players that combines Cherry Cobbler, Not Quite Navy, and Early Espresso and thought that would be a great color combination to use with the kitty stamp.

Change of scenery

Good morning, and happy Saturday!  So glad that Blogger is up again, although some data had been lost at many of the sights I have visited.  :(   With goofy stuff happening, I thought I would shift things around a bit here too...  a change of scenery perhaps?  Not sure if it will stay this way, but I do like the colors!  :)

On to crafting....  I got this stamp set a few months ago because I love buttons and sewing stuffs but wasn't sure where to go with it at first.  But then I got to thinking.... is there such a thing as too many buttons?

Phew!

What a day!  Trying to do all my regular Monday chores and still get all 12 of the National Scrapbook Day challenges from mypinkstamper ... and I didn't get as much done as I would have liked to.  I ran out of time to even attempt challenge #6 or #12.  Toward the end many of my cards ended up being quite simplistic, even more so than usual.  There were SO many cute creations that were posted by SO many crafty people!  Great ideas and inspiration if you get stuck.
Now to sleep, and perhaps some more crafting later on in the day!  :)

Hello!

Hello and good morning!  Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!  Mother's Day was yesterday, National Scrapbook Day was Saturday, and it was nice and sunny out most of the time....  YAY!  But that meant that all the yard work had to be done instead of the time set aside for crafting.  SO, I am going to try to squeeze it in between the regular Monday projects.  Laundry and cleaning can always wait, right?  :)

One of the blogs I have followed for quite a while is Robyn @ mypinkstamper.com and I am going to attempt some of the challenges (open till midnight CST tonight) she and her team have posted for National Scrapbook Day.  Let's see....  challenge #1 is anything cupcake:

Supplies:
Cricut Cart- Slumber Party

This time of year when the temperature is unable to stabilize...  oh, it really messes me up.  Between catching a cold and pollen I think I have every kind of over the counter cold/sinus/allergy medication in my cabinet.  At least it gave me some downtime to mess around with paper, pencil, my Gypsy, and ideas.
