My Pink Stamper Challenge

Hello my crafty friends!  Thought I would attempt to take a stab at 'trying out' for the DT (design team) over at My Pink Stamper.  To do so, you need to 1) have a blog you post regularly on for a min of 3 months 2) create an original project for this challenge, 3) post a picture and the recipe, 4) cannot have conflicting interests, 5) create a card, project, etc. with your favorite Cricut cartridge using the following colors: orange, turquoise, green, brown, and optional color of your choice.  Well, I have many "favorite" cartridges, and Create a Critter is one of them and the little fishy in the bowl (pg 43) would be perfect for this challenge!

Recipe:
Cricut cartridge- Create a Critter;
     Fishbowl (5.93" x 5") times 2- using Gypsy weld together!
     Water (5.21" x 5") - embossed 'D'vine Swirls'
     Sand (4.79" x 5") - embossed 'Tiny Mosaic' & inked up using Color Box
     Seaweed (1.67" x 5") - inked up using Color Box
     Fish (2.38" x 1.5") - embossed using 'Swiss Dots'
Paper- Stampin Up; Recollections;
Stamp- MPS 'Even More Punny-licious';
Ink- Stampin Up;
Pen- Gelly Roll;

So exciting!

This past week has been SO busy!  Didn't even have time for checking blogs, crafting, etc....  till today.  I was so surprised and excited to see that the card I submitted (for challenge #67 at Fantabulous Cricut) got picked as one of the "Top 5"!!!  Thank you ladies for considering my card for this honor!  :)

Happy 4th!

Hope everyone is enjoying this wonderful day!  Did some grillin' and chillin'....  and crafting!  :)
There are two challenges with themes that are perfect for this time of year...  This week over at Fantabulous Cricut the theme is "pool time" where you need to create a water-themed project (challenge #67) and at My Craft Spot the challenge (#15)  is to create anything that reminds you of summer!!!!  How fun!
When I think of summer, swimming definitely comes to mind...  especially when it is SO hot out!!
Have a 'fin-tastic' day!  :)

Supplies:
Cardstock- Bazzil: DCWV; Recollections;
